Ukiyo Japanese Blossom Gin

Born in Kagoshima in the shadow of the Sakurajima volcano, this Blossom Gin is made from the base of the traditional Japanese shōchū spirit. The shōchū is re-distilled with juniper, local citrus fruits, cherry blossoms and native herbs, always exercising restraint in the pursuit of clarity and perfection. The fruits of this effort are revealed in the delicate floral aromas that mimic those found in the mountains and coastline around Kagoshima. The dominant aromatic characteristics are those of juniper, cherry blossoms and orange. In the background notes of violet, coriander and spices appear.
