One of the most famous triple-sec liqueurs where the peels of sweet and bitter oranges from different varieties are used and blended with spirit, sugar and water. The story begins in Saint in Angers in 1849, when the brothers Edourd-Jean and Adolphe Cointreau opened their distillery. Colorless with a penetrating orange aroma in the nose and mouth, it is a key ingredient for many cocktails such as the famous Cosmopolitan or the Kamikaze.
