Created by Charles Tanqueray in 1830, Tanqueray London Dry Gin is produced today according to the same classic, timeless recipe. Its iconic bottle shape is inspired by the three-pronged cocktail shaker, made famous during the Prohibition era of the “Golden Decades of the 1920s”. The pineapple, once considered so exotic that it became the ultimate symbol of hospitality in England in the 1830s, was part of the Tanqueray family logo and adorns every bottle of the Tanqueray distillery. Tanqueray London Dry Gin is distilled four times and has the perfect balance of four classic gin botanicals – refreshing juniper, peppery coriander, aromatic angelica and sweet licorice. Best enjoyed with tonic, plenty of ice and a lime wedge, but can be used as an excellent base for a wide range of cocktails.
