Cardhu is located in the famous whiskey producing Speyside, close to the River Spey. Its founder, in 1824, was John Cumming, while its current form owes it to 2 very dynamic women, Helen Cumming who started producing Cardhu whiskey and Elizabeth Cumming who grew the business and later sold it to the Johnnie Walker family . The word Cardhu comes from the Gaelic words Carn Dubh meaning Black Stone. The much-loved Cardhu with extra aging that gives aromas of tropical fruits, candies and sweet spices. Deep golden color. Complex, fruity, with extra notes of vanilla and almond.
